If visitors have a positive experience on your site, because your site is easy on the eyes, is consistent, is easy to navigate, then they are more likely to stay on your site, bookmark it to return later, and ultimately upgrade from readers to buyers.

Remember, if you design your site for your potential target market and not for yourself, your site has a better chance of being successful.

I have to work hard

Everyone thinks they have to "work hard" in order to achieve their vision of success. In my opinion, the phrase "I have to work hard", immediately puts you in a frame of mind of immense struggle, stress, sacrifice, all work, no play…

NO! That’s not living. Lose that negative phrase. If you want to work for yourself you have to be willing to change a lot of your thoughts. And the biggest and most important change is to rid yourself of limiting beliefs. Like that the only way to get ahead is by struggling.

You need to take time to play! And you really need to change those thoughts. Those thoughts that threaten your happiness.

Why not say to yourself instead:
"I have to work smart" ?

Much better, right?

or, why not:

"I have to work because it makes me feel alive and I love what I do"?

Put up your hands. How many of you are doing what you love?

Hmmmm…

Yes, more and more people are starting to work for themselves. Because that is true freedom. But let me give you a small pearl of wisdom, if I may:

Whatever you decide to do to earn a living, don’t do it for the money. Do it because you love it. And the money will come to you. Believe that!

There is a promise of hope in the air. I can feel it. And I’m excited. So I ask you all to keep those positive thoughts circulating. Here’s to better days ahead for all of us.

By now, most of you understand the importance of using certain tools to make sure Google knows you exist. For those of you who don’t know what to do here’s my list :

• So once you’ve set up your blog go and sign up for a Google webmaster account.
• Once you’ve set up your Google account, get Google Analytics
• Copy the Google Analytics code to your clipboard
• Log into your WordPress admin area and click "Design", then click "Theme Editor", then select "footer.php" to edit.
• Paste your Google Analytics code before "</body></html>" in footer.php and then click "Update File"
• Install Google XML Sitemaps plugin.
• Install All-In-One SEO Pack plugin
• make sure you use custom permalinks. Click "Settings" and then "Permalinks". Then select "Custom Structure" and type in
  "/%category%/%postname%", and click "save changes".
• Manually submit your blog’s domain to dmoz.org in the right category.

After you’re done, Google and other search engines will find your WordPress blog as you start to put in your content. Now Google loves original content. Start blogging. Fill your blog with good quality original posts - using targeted keywords. Use images, videos, and ask questions of your readers to encourage comments, and before you know it, you’ll have people interacting with you via your blog.

It can be a lot of fun. Personally, I love blogging.

We don’t need to conserve energy, we need to produce it!

Energy is free, and renewable, and it is cheaper to produce than you think. And don’t let anyone make you feel guilty again about running any of your electric appliances, or anything run by electricity again. I say that because I had an argument once with a friend of mine, who tried to make me feel guilty about using an electric clothes dryer. She said that people who use clothes dryers use the most energy, and should start using clothes lines again. Now, I’m sorry, my busy lifestyle and the fact that Welland has a ton of birds who make no bones about where they poop, does not warrant me ever using a clothesline.

Oh my, I’m such a bad person, aren’t I? No, I’m not. I’m just not buying into the lie that we are running out of energy. And neither should you. In fact, I recommend that you turn off the news, and start listening to your gut instincts a whole lot more. I mean, you remember your science class, and the experiments you did in class? No? I remember clearly producing electricity using different things in class. And it was cheap to do.

So I’m very angry because the only reason the media has been paid to fill your mind with the idea that we are running out of energy is because your government along with the big energy companies are making money producing electricity and then selling it off to other countries or big corporations for millions of dollars. So of course, they want you to believe there’s a lack of energy, so that you’ll willingly pay the high energy bills, while they sit there making a fortune on your energy consumption.

Fact: Here in Ontario Canada, a portion of our electricity bills is to pay down Ontario Hydro’s debt! What a rip-off! They mis-use our tax dollars and then we pay for it!

It is not hard to learn how to produce your own energy for less money than you think. The only way you can start to truly live an abundant life is by producing your own electric power, using solar or wind energy. Think about how much money you will save, if you never have to pay for electricity again. Think of the impact it will have on our planet, if all of us were producing our own electric energy.

Today this random Angel Guidance I got really fit with what is going on right now in my life:

Blessed one. Even when you have forgotten, your heart has not forgotten. Even when you have stopped believing, your soul has never lost the connection. Your role will grow now, it will unfold as you are now willing to remember your grace and fullness. You will find many answers that have eluded you, you will understand the guidance that has seemed so long in coming. Your time of working without support is over. You have achieved the transformation of your spirit, you have set the pattern for others. You must live by your own words now. By your own teachings. These promptings have come from your higher spirit. They are real and useful. Implement them more careful in the next days. Others will be listening. And remember, you are deeply loved.
