Well after a very hectic move, I’m back online with a new cable modem which also runs my digital home phone…what’s so cool about the digital phone service is that I can call anywhere at any time in Canada and the US (except Alaska and Hawaii) for free!

I was a long-time Bell Canada customer but it was costing me over $60 per month just for regular service without any long distance charges…now for the next year I will only pay $34.95 and then it will go up to $45 or something…anyway, it doesn’t matter…I will save big time on long distance and that’s the bottom line

The move was rather hectic…I was still packing as the guys were loading… it was supposed to rain but it held off until Sunday though it was rather humid. I must have drank a gallon of water!

On Saturday night we had a bonfire…we demolished an old picnic table that was left by the previous home owners, so it went into the firepit! Then we relaxed the rest of the night by the fire until we basicly passed out of exhaustion. It felt good to sleep in on Sunday and we needed it after 3 weeks of intense renovations and the move.

We still have stuff left at the old house and I’m going over there on Wednesday to clean the place and get the rest of the stuff we have there…We threw out bags and bags of garbage and gave a lot of stuff to charity because we had so much accumulated…I guess we’re pack rats

Now I’m unpacking and my office was the 3rd room to get organized…I had to put the kitchen and bathroom ahead of my office, of course I love decorating so the next few days will be a lot of fun for me…putting pictures up, arranging furniture…etc…then I think I’m going to just relax for a couple of days during the long weekend…I think I deserve it!
