We all have creative abilities. And now, more than ever, we are being called to use them and prosper from them.

And I totally agree. If you currently are still working for someone else, now is the perfect time to start a part-time online business. There are many income opportunities on the Internet. You can create your own info products, you can sell other people’s products, you can market your own services, you can sell your own crafts. The possibilities are endless.

If I can do it, you can too. I left a cushy government of Canada job 12 years ago with all the benefits and a good steady pay – against the advice of quite a few friends. They thought I was nuts, because at the time I was a single mom with a son who depended on me. But I was stubborn and fearless. And I made money – a part-time income on the Internet as a self-taught freelance web designer.

I even went bankrupt once. That didn’t stop me! I was told by my bankruptcy counsellor that Walt Disney claimed bankruptcy several times before he succeeded. And that was all I needed to hear to persevere.

What you will find on the Internet is tons and tons of information on how to make money online. Some of the information is bogus, some is not. There are many forums for Internet marketers where you can find out really valuable tried and tested information. Join those forums. It’s up to you to take that information you find and use it to your advantage.

Later on this month I will write about how using a WordPress blog increased my website traffic and my income and I will show you the exact WordPress tweaks I use to get at least 200 unique visitors a day, as well as how I have several keyword phrases that rank in the top 10 listings of Google. I will share with you how you can make an average of at least $500 per month from only one WordPress blog. So if one blog generates that much, think of how much you can earn with 2 or 3, or even 10 blogs!

Until then, think positive, think of the possibilities, and know that everything is going to be alright. Because you can prosper during these times. And there are good people online who are willing to help and are happy to see you succeed. I’m one of them.
