Get Free Web Designs officially launched yesterday. There are already 167 free XHTML and CSS templates available for download, and I expect that number to grow very quickly in the next few months. It’s great to have another place to submit templates to and I’ve got a new one ready and will post about it next.
Yesterday my site was down for much of the day so I wasn’t able to participate in Thank a Plugin Developer Day.
So today I thought I would list my favorite plugins here and give the developers a big thanks and some link love:
Of course, those aren’t the only plugins I have installed and I do appreciate all the WordPress plugin developers out there. Thank you for helping to make WordPress even better then it already is!
So what have I been up to? Well, this weekend I created 75 more header graphics. I designed 15 headers for 5 categories and I will be bundling them up with some other goodies into another little package which will be very affordable to all.
In the meantime, you can still purchase my first set of 70 header graphics which can be used for any number of projects, such as blogs, websites, or email message headers. Or consider this XHTML and CSS template package which can be used to create over 140 websites. Both packages come with no restrictions and can be downloaded instantly.
I plan on releasing another free XHTML template for The Lord of the Rings fans. This one will be created for Tolkien fans and also for players of LOTRO’s Mines of Moria, which has become a critically acclaimed MMORPG game. The expansion has created such a big buzz, it’s been incredible. I’m a Tolkien fan and a founder game player (in my limited spare time!), so I have so much fun creating stuff for this passionate niche. 
I’m also working on a number of other sites, each at various stages of development. I will at some point outsource some of the work and will post more on that later.
I also continue to coach advanced WordPress techniques to all of you who want to go beyond the basics of WordPress 2.7. For the basics of WordPress 2.7, you don’t have to pay unless you really need your hand held! 
WordPress.tv has all the basics of WordPress 2.7 in easy-to-understand video format.
