Earlier this week I posted about WordPress Security here.
I’m mentioning it here again because I can’t stress enough how important it is to be vigilant especially if you are earning a living from your blog.
Backup your blog regularily so even if something does happen you have a recent backup to import into your database. And no matter what people say, always upgrade to the most recent version of WordPress so that you always have the most up-to-date security fixes installed.
Keep your computer’s anti-virus program updated also. Do regular scans of your computer to remove any trojans or other malware. A keylogger could get access to your WordPress blog, a browser hijacker could be tracking your Internet activity. That is why it is so important to visit trusted sites, keep everything updated, and scan and clean your computer’s hard-drives regularily.
The Internet is full of information and opportunities. There are lots and lots of great people online. There are always more good people than bad, thankfully. Don’t take any chances, though, ok? A few steps is all it takes to make your Internet experience safe, and to secure your WordPress blog.

I received this in an email today and I thought it was a wonderful reminder, one worthy of sharing with you all.
Never compromise a dream. Sure, take a step back, regroup, go bowling, but never compromise a dream.
Mike Dooley.
Have a great week, everyone!

U2 is definitely in my top 10 list of favorite bands, past and present. They are in good company with Led Zeppelin, Heart, Pink Floyd, Queen, Yes, The Rolling Stones, Jethro Tull, The Who, and The Moody Blues rounding off my top 10 choices.
Actually it’s quite difficult to even choose the top 10 best bands ever because over the years my tastes evolved. I used to really like Motown and Folk music a lot, and I still love the Blues, so I left out some phenomenal musicians in this list.
Lately I listen to a lot of instrumental new-age stuff to relax me. Because I’m self-employed, there can be some challenges and sometimes I need to just unwind and listen to some soothing sounds.
Anyway, this particular song by U2 is awesome with it’s message of hope and caring. This is a live version and I hope you enjoy it! Have a great weekend, everyone!
