My other passion, besides designing XHTML templates, is music. So it shouldn’t surprise you that I was glued to the TV last night from 8 to 11:30 pm watching the Grammys.

One of my favorite groups, The Dixie Chicks, did very well with 5 Grammys including: Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year for Not Ready to Make Nice.

Highlights for me was a performance by The Police (they’ve re-united!) who performed the classic Roxanne, a fantastic rendition of It’s a Man’s World performed by Christina Aguilera who won a Grammy for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, and I really loved the My Grammy Moment with the winner Robyn Troup performing Ain’t No Sunshine and My Love with Justin Timberlake.

I wasn’t surprised that Carrie Underwood won Best New Artist. Carrie has been taking the country music scene by storm since she won American Idol a couple of years ago.
