Playing With Audio

Posted by Karen - October 9th, 2006

I have a cool little app called WavePad and I can edit mp3’s and wavs with it. I thought I’d create a couple of audio files so you visitors can hear me if you want to. I had lots of fun messing with this and I think I’m going to get some more recording equipment so that I can combine a guitar track with my voice.

You have 2 choices: click the blue arrow to play the audio file or click the link to download.

1. Karen - A Reading from The Lord of the Rings

2. Karen - A Small A Cappella Clip from Here Comes the Rain Again

How cool Karen! I loved the reading from Lord of the Rings. The added echo made it sound so mystical. Excellent job!

The second one, wow! You can actually sing! Nice!

All we need now is one without echo. Maybe you could take requests? How about a little mp3 message saying hello to your favorite bloggers? hint-hint :)

    hi Sean,

thanks…yes, I like to sing but I don’t often enough. I used to have a dear friend with whom I used to jam with all the time. Unfortunately she’s moved away, so I don’t get to see her too often.

good idea! I will create another “normal” audio message to my favorite bloggers
