Near Future Goal: Vacation

That’s it! I’m going on vacation at least twice in the next 12 months. South once, where it’s warm because from November to April…well it just plain sucks here in Southern Ontario. It’s damp and the cold gets inside of you.

Yeah…a vacation south definitely sometime between now and April is a goal I’m working towards. I have not had a real vacation in…too long!
So!

The second vacation will be in early summer…late June…and I’m going abroad to England. I have friends there whom I haven’t seen in over 30 years! They recently “found” me again. Ah, the powers of the internet! ;) It is going to be a fun re-union, of that I’m quite sure!

I would like to take my son to England for a few days and then continue with a European tour, with a definite stop in Malta, where my parents came from. My son will be graduating from high school in the summer of 2010 so this would be a great time for us to bond before he goes off to do his thing…

so there you have it…my vacation goals…I’m motivated!

    Vacations — I approve! :) I have an England (and hopefully Scotland) vacation planned in June/July too if all goes well. Meanwhile, will also be visiting family and girlfriend in different parts of the country in January.

    Oh and Happy Thanksgiving. That’s once concept I really wish we could borrow in this part of the world.
