you're right, Mag.

we all have different ways of looking at things. What may seem negative to one person, isn't for another, etc.

One person's glass may be half full, another's half empty.

I just find for me, starting the day with a couple of positive affirmations keeps me going.

Caren, you didn't determine what exactly the negative thoughts are or look like, sometimes it's just different point of views.

That's a very good affirmation too that takes away a lot of stress.
But you have to keep your mind straight because it doesn't grow on the trees :)

I agree, Frits
setting goals, even small daily goals really helps improve our lives as we accomplish them we feel a sense of pride and self worth

a lot of people stress about money so as wrote in the email I sent you...

here\'s one for day:
I have plenty of money for all my needs.

That's a very interesting subject. Positive affirmations really work.

Setting useful targets also help to improve your life.
That can be as simple like painting the shed. I did that a few weeks ago and it rewards every time you look at it.
I bet the neighbours around me were glad too I finally did it... but things like that are also improvements of your circumstances.

Finding people that share the same way of thinking helps too. Some can be a few steps further then yourself so you can learn from them.

I use an affirmation that seems to work pretty well against stress:
I don't have to prove anything on internet. I am what I am; also on internet.
Another one is:
I take steps only one at a time.
