Fem Flex 1 TemplateFem Flex 1
This a fluid 3 column template that can be used for a personal or blog site. It has soft feminine colors of creams and moss green with gradient backgrounds for the header and footer. There are no usage restrictions whatsoever on this template, but if you do use it, I’d love to here from you. I’ve tested the template in Firefox 1.5, IE6, and Opera 8.5. Enjoy!

    Very nice, Karen!

If you look a little closer to it it’s like the body is glaring over the header and footer.
Gee, you really did it again.

I didn’t know you could center an image like you did in the right column, nor using an if expression for a style declaration. Well, CSS still has a lot I don’t know about.
One small comment though: could you please change the charset from utf-8 to iso-8859-1 ?
It’s very common in non-english languages to use characters like é, ö etcetera.
Think of all the French users. They must go crazy when they see this.

I’m a great big fan of you, and you proved it once again.
    :-)

    Wow!

    Hi Frits,

Thanks for your input. I value it as always. I’m glad you like the template. I’ve changed the charset as per your request :) and you can now download the updated file. Have a great weekend!

    Karen -

Nice template design. I’d make two suggestions, however. 1) I’d rather the text be pure black for better reading contrast. Maybe it is just my eyes getting old, but I find that sort of thing helpful. 2) Purely from a marketing perspective, I’d suggest describing it as having “pastel” instead of “feminine” colors. OK, no big deal!

Danny, thanks once again for your input. I agree, your description is probably better…and as for the font color, I imagine there may be some users who would want to change it to black in which case it’s an easy change on the stylesheet ;)
