What’s New and Up-Coming

Posted by Karen - September 10th, 2006

I’ve installed a small Javascript snippet to activate a currency converter that is compliments of Easy-Forex on my web design service and fees page. I think it’s a handy little tool to have here as I seem to attract international visitors :)

I’ve put the poetry contest I had planned on hold for a while as I would like to:

  • get more amateur poets coming to this site
  • frequent a few poetry forums so that I may interact with other poets and thus possibly get them interested in a contest
  • get a couple of sponsors together who will either offer services, products or cash to add to the prize pool
  • get 2 or 3 volunteer judges who are poetry-lovers or poets themselves to help with the successful outcome of the contest.

Reminder: anyone can submit a poem anytime on this site, whether you read a poem you would like to share or you wrote one, please use the form located on the poetry submission page.

Templates: I’m working on them! Right now I’m in the process of creating/sourcing images for 3 or 4 various projects.

New Blog Category Being Added: I have
always had a fascination with investing whether it’s low risk or high..it doesn’t matter. Learning how to make big money with little or a reasonable amount of seed money is possible in many ways if you are smart and are willing to learn. So I’m learning ForexTrading and have decided that I’ll add a blog category for that. I welcome feedback from anyone who has a similar interest or knowledge. I am only interested in legal and legitimate investment opportunities and information because I’ve been burned by a few of those so-called matrix or ponzi schemes and I’m not ever going there again.

I hope everyone’s having a great weekend. It’s 2 a.m. EST on Sunday morning as I write this so I think I’l play a half hour of MahJongg before I turn in. Good night! :)

May I recommend you to introduce more photos, to make your blog more colorful. If you are interested in sea side view or mountain one, you can get some from http://www.book-santorini-hotels.com, a friend of mine is selling his photos there. Good luck!!!

thanks for your comment…I do my own graphic design plus I use royality-free photos and graphics from various places like stock.xchng.
I also feel that content is more important than images, don’t you?
