Serenity was tested on a Windows machine with Firefox 1.5 and IE 6.0 as valid transitional XHTML.
There are 5 graphics included with this design: the header graphic, the lake graphic, the background image for the container which expands as you add more text, the footer image, and the 2nd lake image which is floated right with a 2 pixel border.
Since Serenity is open source, you're free to download it and use it for whatever you want. I'd love to get your comments if you do use it.
