About This Template

Posted by Karen on September 25, 2006

This template is a fluid 2 column style which will stretch to a maximum of 1003 pixels. I've designed it to be used especially for a Tolkien or Lord of the Rings fansite but by replacing the header graphic, the ring bullet, and the left side's rune background, it can be used for any type of medieval or celtic site. The title font is "Ringbearer" which can be downloaded from here. If you don't have the font installed on your computer that's no problem, because it should display as the next fonts: Book Antiqua, Georgia or Serif. This template has been tested in the latest version of Firefox, IE6, and Opera.

In addition, I've designed a WordPress theme from this template which can be downloaded here, and that is why there are a lot of extra divs located in the CSS file.

I'm releasing this under the Public Domain so do with it what you please and enjoy! I would, however, love to hear from you if you do decide to use it.

Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
