This time last year, GetFreeWebDesigns.com launched as the newest open source web design community and it now houses over 570 free XHTML template designs.

Today, almost a year later, a new public forum has been added to the site and now visitors can join in the discussions.

Learn and discuss web design topics such as HTML, XHTML, CSS, PHP and other programming languages, as well as comment about specific templates. There’s also a classified section to offer or request web design or programming services.

I am quite certain that in no time this forum will be very active and it will be very interesting to watch it grow. GFWD is the 4th open source community that I’ve been a been part of and a lot of the core members have stuck together through all kinds of ups and downs to continue sharing our knowledge and our work with the world.
