I have been a loyal PhotoImpact user since version 4. I purchased it because at the time I could not afford PhotoShop, and Ulead’s very cool suite of tools was the poor man’s alternative.

I can’t see why anyone wouldn’t appreciate this software. It is really a robust graphics editor, supports a whole slew of image formats, and is compatible with many 3rd party plugins. Now that Corel bought out Ulead , the new PhotoImpact X3comes bundled with Corel® Painter™ Essentials 3 Full Version, a complete home art studio. If that’s not enough, graphic tools for video enthusiasts, and digital media management tools are thrown into this affordable bundle.

I will purchase the upgrade bundle for $49.00. The full version is only $69.00 at the moment. That’s a really good deal, in my opinion. Guess what I’ll be doing this weekend? Yes, upgrading to PhotoImpact X3.
