Seasonal Designs in the Works

Posted by Karen - November 7th, 2006

With the Christmas season quickly approaching, I thought it would be neat to create a couple of seasonal XHTML templates and WordPress themes.

I’ve been creating a slew of graphics and now it’s just a matter of coming up with some layouts. I hope to have at least one of them created this week if and when I get some free time.

Speaking of Christmas, I’ve got a couple of items on my wish list:

  • I’d like a new computer. My computer is very outdated. It does the job but I’d love to have a newer one with lots more ram, a bigger monitor (LCD), a top-notch video card, etc.
  • I’d also like to get a digital camcorder so that I can get into creating my own videos
  • I need a vacation. I would love to go away with my family to somewhere warm (the Caribbean, maybe) over the Christmas holidays

I believe in miracles so maybe I’ll get my wishes. What’s on your wish list?

I don’t mean to rub it in, but I’ve just got a new computer! It’s nothing much, but it’s got a graphics card, and lots of RAM. Now I just need to learn to work with colours (some hope!).

My Christmas wishlist: find a pot of gold so I could finance some higher studies before I’m too old!

    Hi Payal,

yay! it’s nice to get new things, isn’t it?

a pot of gold…now that’s everyone’s wish, I think! Most of us have something that a windfall could help us finance. You know if you can’t dream big, why bother! :)
