One of the most important things a webmaster must do when launching a website is to figure out who their niche market is. A web designer is no exception. After years of struggling to accommodate everyone and anyone, I’ve realized that it’s virtually impossible to please all my visitors. I still will take on almost any project that is within my scope of ability, though lately I’ve focused on creating more and more designs geared to women.

Most of my clients are women who are small business or home business owners, artists, and musicians and it just hit me that this suits me just fine. This week alone I’ve received several emails from women launching websites and are using my Open Source template called Translucent Fluidity. This template is a very simple style thats super easy to customize and make your own, just like Shannon Carver of SavageHumor.com did. Shannon is an incredible 3D artist and she wrote me this week. I love what she did with her site.
