Buying and selling domains or virtual real estate is big business. It has now become part of my business. I decided that I would start to build sites using WordPress or XHTML templates, monetize them, drive traffic to them, get them ranked, have them generate some income, and then sell them for a good profit or keep the ones I want to continue building.

Because I have Internet technology knowledge, SEO abilities, and a good nose for sniffing out lucrative niches, I know that in a year’s time, maybe less, I will be earning a very good living with site-flipping. I have been self-employed since 1996 as a freelance web designer/Internet consultant but I decided recently to make a big change and not take on any more consulting projects.

This will give me more time to focus on building some niche sites and creating my own products. I also will be doing some affiliate marketing, which is one way I will monetize the niche sites I build.

If a 22-year-old young man can sell a niche blog for $15,000,000 after building it for only 2 years, surely anyone can duplicate his success or at least make some very very good money in the process, by building a quality niche blog or static website, filling it with good content, monetizing it, and driving traffic to it, so that it earns income and becomes valuable.

It probably sounds simpler than it is to a lot of people, but to someone like me, who already has the technical advantage, it is a straightforward formula for success. Now I’m not saying any site I build will be guaranteed to be worth 15 million in 2 years, but you just never know what someone could perceive as valuable. That’s the beauty of the world of business. There are just so many possibilities and unlimited opportunities. And that excites me!
