It’s official. The scheduled release of WordPress 2.5 has been delayed. Thank goodness! According to the list of plugins that are compatible with version 2.5, only 4 or 5 of my list of 23 plugins are ready and compatible with the latest WordPress release.

Hopefully, the extra week will be enough time for all WordPress plugin developers to get theirs updated to work with 2.5 so that WordPress users can upgrade without too many headaches. I don’t relish having to search for and test out compatible plugins to replace the ones I have and I’m sure I’m not the only blogger who feels that way.

Will you update to WordPress 2.5 as soon as it’s released or will you wait until all your plugins are updated first?
